The Workforce Development System needs volunteers from the business community!

Workforce Development Councils (WDC's) need business people to sit on and chair their boards.Community and technical college's needs business people to sit on numerous advisory committees, participate in focus groups and review curriculum. And, numerous organizations are looking for mentors of all sorts.

The AWB Institute is often asked to provide or help recruit volunteers for the types of activities outlined above and more.To help facilitate those requests the institute has developed the Workforce Washington! data base.Workforce Washington! is a listing of business people who are willing to volunteer their time and talent to help develop the best workforce in the world.

If you have a passion to help Washington state's business community by volunteering at a WDC, Community or technical college, a state agency or any other organization devoted to workforce issues, contact Mike Hudson at the AWB Institute, 360-943-1600 or mikeh@awb.org,  and add your name to the list or Workforce Washington! volunteers.
